These kurthis are based on traditional Newari designs sourced from Nepal. Rather than redesigning the traditional garment, Nach Firiri adds subtle, dance-friendly customizations — including adjustable back ties and an emphasized umbrella-shape sleeve — while preserving the original patterns, colors, and cultural elements.

The iconic Newari color combination is black and red, where black symbolizes power and protection, and red represents the divine feminine — woven into traditional pieces again and again.
